Kirby will always have the talent advantage. Say what you want about Kirby but he will continue to recruit better than Mullen.
Given all of this, it will be interesting to see who wins the Cocktail Party more often than not over the next decade. I Feel like the Dawgs will likely win next year, but after that I'm not sure. Hopefully, Feleipe Franks will choose to stay all 5 years in Gainesville. There's a guy who deserves to be in the WLOCP Hall of Fame on the Georgia side. Franks has been very good to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Doesn’t matter who wins the SEC Easy. Hasn’t mattered for a long time. Don’t see that changing anytime soon

Stop making reasonable posts!

So I guess when UGA won the East in 2017, won the SEC Championship, the Rose Bowl, and took Bama into OT in the Natty it didn't matter much? We get it, LSU can't finish higher than 3rd in the SEC West and you have to make yourself feel better about that.

Everyone is trying to poach all the talent out of the states of Georgia and Florida, but I think it helps that Georgia only has to locally worry about Georgia Tech. Florida has to worry about Florida State and Miami. And UCF is making a weird push, and USF is doing well with Charlie Strong, plus they used to be a P5 program at one point. Florida is spread much more thin.

I wouldn't concede that Mullen is a better coach than Kirby yet

You're not taking into account the fact that schools like Clemson, Auburn, Florida St., and Tennessee are close enough to poach Georgia kids. They always have, although at this point I don't see any top recruit picking Tennessee over UGA unless he wants immediate playing time.
UGA has a lot more competition than just Georgia Tech. Trevor Lawrence is a Georgia kid and Clemson snagged him. So was Deshaun Watson.

Did you not see the decisions Kirby made in the SEC Championship game and the LSU game? Meanwhile, Mullen took that team of scrubs to a 10-3 record with a blowout win over Michigan in the NY6. They were literally led by Feleipe Franks. I cannot stress that enough.

What kind of a bitch post is this? You claim to be a Dawg. Nut up and tell them that Mullen is trash and Kirby owns him.

All Kirby can do is recruit. No excuse for losing the Auburn game the way we did in '17. No excuse for getting blown out by LSU last year, no excuse for having such a big lead against Bama in the natty last year and the SEC Championship game only to lose. No excuse for absolutely laying an egg against Texas. If Kirby doesn't make it to the CFP this year with this team, he is a scrub.

Even Arkansas took a 5* RB from the state of Florida a few years back. Everyone is trying to recruit both of those states. They're the two best states probably for football talent. It's not fair to say just Georgia gets cherry picked.
Also, Mullen is the better coach for right now. He's a ton more experienced, too. Maybe Kirby actually has a bigger upside. I guess we'll see over the next few years what they're both made of at destination jobs with all the resources in the world.

Dawg fans like you are literally the reason we held on to that Scrub Mark Richt for 15 fricking years while everyone around us won natties. Miami saw the writing on the wall and got rid of Richt after 3 years. You need to nut up and realize that the only impressive thing Kirby has done up to this point is recruit. He completely mismanaged the whole Justin Fields fiasco. And if he keeps bringing in 3 loss seasons, recruiting will start to decline as well.

Ok, this is some kind of weird same team troll. Proceed with your foolishness

Right, and Clemson and Auburn are geographically closer to Athens, GA than Miami is to Gainesville. The fact that GA Tech is technically the only in-state competition is very misleading.
