The SEC was talking UCF as an outside shot as early as 2010.

Mullen said it best that they’re the flavor of the month. There’s always a group of 5 team that does well every year. And we look to play power 5 teams if we’re going out of conference, not small schools like UCF, unless it’s a 2 for 1. By the time the games are played, UCF is statistically going to be awful and UF will destroy them like we did the other times we played them. UF has nothing to gain by beating them 42-0 every time.

I know you guys are new to this football thing, but games are usually scheduled pretty far out. (Usually at least 3 years). You’re more likely to have another 0-fer season and be awful than be as good as you think you are by then. Really, Florida has nothing to gain playing a group of 5 team. Doesn’t help our strength of schedule. It’s like playing an FCS school. You community college kids are annoying as shite. I hate to even shite on UCF since I have several family members that went there. But you guys (and quite a few that I know) are annoying as hell thinking you could hold a candle playing in a power 5 conference.
Sit back down or go do the anywhere anytime mentality. Look at FSU when Bowden first started. They did the play anywhere anytime mentality, it got them into the ACC and look what they did with that. Maybe try going that route before talking any sort of shite when you have not won anything but a bowl game over depleted and unmotivated Auburn team.

We actually have more top 10 finishes in the last 6 years (3) than UF (1). We also would’ve absolutely ahhilated you last season and the season before that so be glad you didn’t actually offer a 2 for 1 bc you would have been embarrassed which is why your AD begged the Peach Bowl to fill in Michigan instead of UCF.

Notre Dame and Navy have played over 80 times and how many have been at Navy? Zero. Why? The stadium is too small for the demand of tickets (35,000).
UF fans could fill the 45,000 UCF stadium by themselves. Play the neutral site game. This is just another excuse for UCF to grandstand like they are something that they aren’t.

Dude UCF isn’t in a power 5 conference, and therefore doesn’t deserve a home & home or a neutral site game with a power 5 school, especially a power 5 school like UF. You’re the “flavor of the month” school whose had two good seasons against piss poor competition. Just because you beat Auburn in one bowl game doesn’t mean you deserve jack squat. You aren’t at the power 5 table, and if your dumbass AD keeps this crap up, you’re never going to be. You are freaking UCF for goodness sakes.
