What the hell are the officials gonna do? Step in and take the hit themselves?

Don't ask me. He said it

I'm sure Mullen would love an NFL type rule where touching the QB's legs is an automatic 15 yard penalty. He's an OC, a QB Coach in particular. I bet Coach O would love to see his D-Linemen get more love. It's their nature.

Dan Mullen calling Marlon Davidson hit on Trask 'dirty': 'Maybe that was not the right word at the time.' Said he knows that is not coached at Auburn, SEC has to do as much as possible to address player safety.
Dan Mullen is such a pussy. Never apologized.

a clear as day hold by the LT resulting in the defender hitting the QB in the legs should be a penalty like targeting? Yikes

His team benefitted from the non call.

And your team benefited from the targeting on Pierce that resulted in a fumble and wasn't called. Hold that L.

Something caused Davidson to go form being parallel to whatever yard line that is, to completely perpendicular to it prior to tackling Trask. I just can't put my finger on it. Must have been a dirty play

I see 72 digging for cleavage on the Auburn player. Mullen should think more before he speaks.

I'm not sorry for what we are going to do to his feelings this weekend.

He clarified he didn't mean the Auburn coaches were dirty nor that the player was going for a dirty hit. Said he meant to say that play should be a penalty like targeting basically.

He's a liar. He said what he meant to say at the moment. He's just too big of a puss to be a man and say he was wrong and apologize to the Auburn kid.

Did you see the play? The UF OT did not throw him into the QB, he dragged him down by the jersey. Davidson could do nothing about hitting the QB. Anyway, in either case it was not a dirty play.

Yea he should have apologized imho. That was a clean play and like many posters said already, the AU d-lineman was pushed on top of the UF player.

He saw his O lineman tackling the Auburn player into his quarterback with a no-call and he figured he better shut his mouth and put this incident to rest.

You can clearly see Davidson’s hand in the first photo grabbing his jersey and pulling himself down. It’s called the grab and sideways roll tackle. It’s designed to pretend you were tackled by the OL and hurt the QB.

No he didn’t. He beat around the bush and spouted pure bullshite. But he never apologized. Mullen proved Saturday he’s a whiny bitch when he called the play “dirty”. Today he proved he’s a petty little piece of dogshit for not apologizing to a young man after being given video evidence what he accused that young man of doing never happened. frick Dan Mullen

It wasn't targeting. The on the field officials didn't call it, replay had time both in the stadium and in the SEC offices and didn't see it and the CBS replay commentary also said it wasn't targeting. What is wrong with UF fans?
