I do believe they're the best shot, but not because of the talent or coaching etc. Only because of it being a thursday night game, and lack of experience at QB in his first SEC game ever.

Mainly the thurs. night thing IMHO...

Hell listening to some on this site MSU beating aub wouldn't be an upset.

The game sets up poorly for auburn but i expect they get it done.

I'm going to say Bama, they always play them tough and there is some history of pulling a upset there.

Okay, just to hit everyone with a little knowledge, here's State's recent record for Thursday night games (home and away)

2002 vs. Auburn L 42-14
2002 @ Ole Miss L 24-12
2003 vs. Ole Miss L 31-0
2006 vs. USCe L 15-0
2007 vs. LSU L 45-0

So that's a total of 157-26 in points differential, a 0-5 Record, 0-4 in Starkville and a combined ZERO points scored in the last 3 tries in Starkville....just saying

As is the same with every other game questioned in the whole "Thursday night game" legend.

Probably not LSU. I think the players are tired of all the "you almost lost to Miss. St. booboo:!!" BS from last year.....

Auburn has recieved losts of hype, so.....

...But until they actually pull off an upset, I'm not buying it....

dude, come on he has played against

Western Kentucky
Troy
Tennessee
Vandy
Florida Atlantic
Hawaii

Here is his stats against the SEC teams

2-6 15 yards 0TD 1INT

7 rushes 48 yards

Don't act like he is SEC savy.

Mississippi State won't beat Auburn, Alabama, LSU, or Georgia.

In fact, Auburn is going to skull frick them on National Television in that Thursday night game. Bama will also beat the shite out of them.

I can see them keeping it close against LSU, though.

Never said he was "SEC savvy" bud, nor did I infer it. It just pisses me off when people say something inaccurately to help strengthen their case. So I try to correct things when I see an error...

I love how Moo State fans are downing Cam Newton now, just because he picked Auburn.
