Don't know why you're disagreeing with him. According to you State is in a good spot...

I would be happy with just winning seven or eight games a year and having a fun offense to watch. Really all I ask for out of football. I do not expect to overtake lsu or bama.

Who did I disagree with in this thread?

ETA: And according to that we are not in a good spot. Offense sucks...we are not going to win 7 or 8 this year.

Got the impression that you took umbrage with RebFeBrees' little manifesto and his characterization of State as an emerging chronic underachiever.

My oh my how things change. And hey, I get it, we turned on Nutt after telling Arky fans they were crazy. I'll gladly admit that. Arky fans are crazy and we quickly saw why - they had to put up with Captain Jerkoff for a decade. However, this situation w Mullen is different.

OM fans (atleast me and the ppl I know) began to really get concerned when HDN shopped his name to AU in 08, after the State loss in 09, and then shopping again to GD Kansas in 09. I already know some of you State guys will try and say we worshiped Nutt like yall worshipped Mullen and that's simply not true. If it makes you feel better, fine, I understand. OM fans who pay attention got the vibe early on that Nutt felt like he was doing charity work by "comin down thar to Oxford and helpin OM out." Well, frick him.

State fans have been giving RIMJOBS ON-DEMAND to Mullen (why? because he catered to them by doing nothing but talking shite about big bro) and now the smoke is starting to clear and his cutie-pie bullshite isnt so cute anymore, is it Dawwwwwwgz?

Merlin is 30-24 and 2-1 in bowls

the last MSU coach to be above .500 when he left was Darrel Royal in the 50s.

MSU was 29-65 with 1 bowl win in the 8 years preceding Mullen.

you really want to can him?

Are they truly playing football at a level nobody has ever seen before? Last season they were blown out by every decent team they faced.
