The hump should be a complete re-do. Incredibly small-minded of us to ignore the age of the structure and ignore its failings and try to pass it off as new. Just a complete waste of money for something that will be outdated in 5 years. Don’t give money to this project. It’s lipstick on a pig at best.

A new arena would be a much larger waste of money. Unless you wanted to use it for multiple indoor sports and other things.

I know…why invest in the future, right? In 2/3 years it will cost 20% more at current rates, what’s it gonna cost when the pig’s lipstick has completely rubbed off?
Here’s an idea…let’s keep the interior and general layout the exact same, sans a “recruiting plaza”, and play it off as an investment to the future???
We are going to Mississippi state this thing, and that’s not optimistic. It’s done already, but “the Mississippi State way” it’s more of an indictment than a promise of success.
