I don't know why but Ole Miss always kicks our arse the first game and then we beat theirs the second. Ole Miss just took Tennessee to OT on the road the other night. They are indeed a very feisty bunch.
So, Ole Miss fans, tell me about this team you've got and who do we need to watch for?

I don't know man, every year Ole Miss always wins game 1 plus its in their house tonight. They are pretty good this year.

We’ve only got one guy who can dribble and one guy who can rebound, and nobody who can consistently shoot. We play extremely hard on defense though.
If we have one guy who gets hot from outside we can hang, but we had 27 (!) turnovers against TN because our best player is hurt and we don’t have anyone else who can dribble.

I saw where you beat #18 Memphis. I did not see the game but the score suggest you do indeed have solid defense. MSU has a bunch of guys who can score and we might need all of them tonight.

Wth? He just returned to the team from that long injury, now what?
He is our best big man in so many ways. That really sucks. Hope it's not a long term issue. Unreal, we finally get everyone back and first time 100% healthy and now this. The jinx has already began.

I hate to say it but I’m watching the Dallas/Philly game. Shooty hoops ain’t meant for us. Once in a life time we’ll have a Marshall Henderson type and that’s already happened, so it’s football for me tonight.

So true. Like clockwork. Yeah You know how we all go back and forth about rivalry crap? With football like to beat LSU the most and hate to lose to MSU the most. With baseball, it’s even. With basketball, I care more about MSU than LSU.

This is the game where we figure out If State is serious about hoops this season or will be a bubble team again that ends up winning a few games in the NIT. Yawn.
