Your fans take air horns to Starkville?
I've never seen any Ole Miss fans take air horns. In 2015 they had a scheme to take cowbells and ring them against their own team to try to cause problems but that got shut down pretty quickly from what I saw.

Lesson #37 on the SECRant. No one wants to hear how great another’s team game day experience, campus, or town is from another fan base.

You have a hard time believing it because you are not paying for the info.
See.. when you subscribe and throw money away on fan sites... they will make you believe anything. No investigation... investigation only on prior staff... 9 schollys over 3, no amended NOA, no bowl ban, freeze not named, no LOIC, etc.
So send me 20 bucks and you will believe it.

Did Hugh Freeze plan a fake funeral again?

Keltic - The Moo fans are notorious for starting fights with older Ole Miss fans by ringing the cowbells within inches of their face. Some Ole Miss take AirHorns for that purpose.
OH look Mom, another bullshite cowbell story.

Most of the drunk, obnoxious, tobacco-chewing farmers I know are Ole Miss fans (sans degree, of course). They just love how it reminds them of the glory days of how it used to be in Mississippi when the democrats ran things and the black folks knew their place.

Ok, then tell me why I’m wrong. I still put the grove up there but it was not as fun as State. Auburn kills both of them

Lived in Mississippi for ten years after moving from the Midwest. I’ll say that the constant bickering between Ole Miss and State fans is really annoying there, but it makes for an interesting time. It’s also an extremely underrated state.

Actually, I take that back. We can cook at ours, so 2nd best.

People talk about piss troughs like it’s a bad thing?

Imagine if Starkville had a metro population of 800,000 instead of 25,000. Imagine if OM, State, and USM were combined into one state university and had 120,000 fans in the stadium.

This. Everybodys gonna have different experiences at different places, based off how you make it. And everybody should appreciate their own Gameday experience.
I've been to games in Gainesville, Baton Rouge, Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Oxford, Starkville, Athens, and Jacksonville for the WLOCP. I had a good time at all. Saying which one is better than the other is all subjective and in the eyes of the beholder.

Yep. I just walked up and took their bells away. Then dared them to say crap. No Rebel said a damn word.

A lot depends on the calendar as well. Nothing is going to make a 102 degree, early September game in Mississippi a pleasant experience.

I seriously doubt you ran into OM fans with cowbells. I also doubt that being the big bad arse you are just grabbed them out of someone's hand while staring them dead in the eye.
On a side note if you can't have fun in a college campus/town on a game day then something is wrong with you.
