If you make like an aggie and stick all of those racket making cowbells up your asses for good, you may get a 8th to 13th grade in the SEC for your gameday experience.

Went two (three?) years ago for the Auburn game and it was easily one of the top 5 environments in the SEC. I’ve been to every stadium except Missouri. Maybe it’s not like that every game but that was my experience. I’ll give it to those clangers, for a smaller school and smaller fan base, they have created a nice enrovonment.

I’d say the game day experience was better than, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Vandy, Ole Miss, And Arkansas for sure. The day we went College Gameday was there so maybe it’s a moot point. Maybe too 5 is a stretch but I’d say top half.

O, and better then Tennessee too. Just my opinion

Ive been everywhere but Kentucky.

1. Auburn can't be beat.
2. LSU at night gives Auburn a run.
3. Alabama was meh.
4. I put Arkansas here.
5. Probably new State (post expansion)

Florida, Georgia and Tennessee were well below Bama. Georgia might be better this year. Tennessee and Florida have no business making fun of anyone's gameday.

Agreed, was not impressed with Florida or Tenn, but both teams were not having good seasons when we went. Alabama is fun but it’s alabama. Its what (all) they do.

LSU on a Saturday night was my favorite by far. I’ve only been to 2 non SEC power 5 environments and they were both just meh

1. LSU
2-4 A&M , Alabama, Georgia, Auburn in no particular order.
5. State
6. Ole Miss (went when Ed was there)

Using the cowbells to support the team, I can deal with as that makes sense, the noise, and it is a tradition. However, using them to harass fans from other teams serves no purpose except to aggravate said fans. As in sitting directly behind me & my two then teenage sons & clanging them directly into our ears. And as we moved around, they followed up. And my experience was not the only one, hearing that it was common to other LSU fans as well. The marshals just laughed.

I have been several times, and I will go on record saying that right now Davis Wade is one of the most fun stadium experiences in the SEC without question (for a big game).

From top to bottom, the execution of their gameday experience is fantastic. Yeah, the cowbells are annoying, but its a tradition.

The media team that controls the lights, music and PA system truly understands the game, and how important it is to play the right music/videos at the right time.

Tip of the hat from an LSU fan here.

It was pretty bad a decade ago but the school decided to make the atmosphere a priotity and it shows, anybody that complains about the MSU gameday experiance either has not been in a long time or is butthurt their own school does not do as well.

I will not claim it is #1 but is is a damn fine production from begining to end, and anyone who can't have a good time has personal issues.

Keltic - The Moo fans are notorious for starting fights with older Ole Miss fans by ringing the cowbells within inches of their face. Some Ole Miss take AirHorns for that purpose.

Drunk, obnoxious,tobacco-chewing farmers just off the tractor are pitiful sights.

Gameday experience in Starkville sure beats the shite out of Oxford that's for sure. I'd still put it behind LSU, bama, Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia

I will concede all of those except Tennessee. Tennessee atmosphere SUCKS. Even Tennessee fans will tell you their gameday sucks. 110,000 people in a 85,000 seat stadium doesn't help.
