I do not miss him being the face of the program. His departure felt right in that regard. People were pissed because they felt he left a year too early, hence the roster talent and depth last year.

I figure we win 9 with Mullen last year, one up from Moorhead. I know Moorhead has signed guys that Mullen wouldn't have signed. More time is needed to see because we had several games under Mullen just like yesterday.

Did you miss almost losing to Kentucky? That’s what Mullen brings the Gators.

Mullen was lucky as hell to win that game. Stoops fricked that up big time not going for the first down at that spot. Mullen was also lucky as hell to beat Bowling Green in 2013 and Miami (Ohio) at the St. Petersburg Bowl.

JoMo is own track to match Mullen's usual 4-4 or 3-5 SEC record at State.

Moorhead is in a sense rebuilding as well. K State had 3 seniors on both lines-experience matters.

I live in MS and can confirm that most are MSU fans are still butt hurt over Mullen and not very happy with Moorhead.

Beginning in 2010, we missed him late season for most of his years at State because he was too busy shopping himself. Before he took the Florida job he was texting before the Egg Bowl with the Tennessee AD. No doubt his job shopping cost us some Egg Bowls and bowl wins.

Florida won't have that problem, but they will have the problem of his inability to recruit with the big dogs or fire his underperforming buddy assistants. He'll win 9-10 games but not win the East and he'll be fired by Florida before his contract expires.

I didn't find out he was shopping himself until after he left. Before that I was a Mullen fan and wanted him to stay. I appreciated how he improved State to where fans are now complaining about Gator Bowls.

Mullen sat there with his thumb up his arse and let Ole Miss embarrass his team, while his QB was hobbling down the sidelines on a broken leg.

He just stood there, knowing that he'd been getting paid by MSU to sneak around and interview with Florida and Tennessee.

Y'all can have the classless prick. Florida will be sick of him soon enough

don't miss him one bit. People forget he habitually lost games he should've won and under prepared for big games. The guy was a tool to be around during the off season. There's a reason we had NFL talent every year on defense and a new coordinator every year... he couldn't shut his damn mouth.

Wait until he throws the defensive coaching staff under the bus after a L and then we’ll talk.

What an arrogant hot wind blow hard....I cannot stand to watch the television if he is on it talking talking talking talking., MF’r cannot shut his pie hole.

And no, I am not a MSU fan or affiliated in any way....

I've grown weary of Moorhead and the general level of stupidity we display on the football field under his watch. That said, I don't miss Mullen at all. Part of our problem this year comes from his recruiting negligence.

When he leaves Florida, you guys won't miss him, either. And judging by the other night, that will be sooner than later.

I don't miss him as much as I dislike Moorhead....he's will never be vested in a five yr. pension plan....Looks like a losing record this yr. to me. What I cannot understand is why MSU hires assistant coaches rather than find a good head coach at a smaller school on his way up, like Kansas State did. We hire Moorhead, an assistant, who was down from a losing head coach....doesn't make sense to me.

Really shows MSU fans delusion, when they bitch about Mullen's recruiting when his average classes were 20 spots higher than MSU average classes before he coached for them.

Not saying he is the best recruiter far from it, but be real best MSU has.
