Realistically, State isn't going to the NCAA tournament unless somehow State can go 10-6 in conference play. The NIT is more of a realistic goal. If State can't make the NIT then that's a problem.

Sec is getting better and state and ole miss are getting worse, whether they admit it or not.

Eh, I'd say we've improved from Rick Ray, but we've plateaued at mediocre.

Well since this is only Howland's third year and he took over a flaming shite filled dumpster it really hasn't been very long. This is the first year we have actually expected post season and we are 11-1 so unless we totally tank in SEC play we'll make it.

Only if you watch MSU on offense. Howland got his name from defense and it's how he got the UCLA job. State is 8th in the country in defense. Last year we were 135th. Year before that 188th.

I'm not sure we would be in the top 50 had we played Tenn or LSU's schedule. We have played 2 teams with a pulse.
