First, congrats on Egg Bowl win! Always fun to put a poverty program in their place.
What’s the latest on Leach and is there any truth to the rumors about him retiring? Where did that start and any validity or much ado about nothing?

I honestly think the “rumors” were ole miss fans trying to combat the lane to aubie rumors. I could very well be wrong but just smells fishy.

Could be the “walking flu.” Had a colleague have that for over a month and he sounded horrible all the time without being that sick

I heard on a podcast last week, Keenum stressed to Leach how important it was not do lose the Egg Bowl for a third time.
If that loss would have happened, I could see Leach retiring, so no need for a force out.

The fact is, per your 247 writer, like many on the team, Leach had the flu with the cough.
If you listen to Leach over the past 2 weeks, that has slowly left.

There are some Ole Miss fans on several message boards pretending to be MSU fans. They planted the rumor of health issues hoping to affect recruiting.
Perhaps we responded with rumors of our own about Kiffin?

Said this in another thread but Leach hasn’t sounded good in interviews the last several weeks. Coughed a lot, sounded very phlegmy, and his voice was weak. I didn’t think much of it at the time because I assumed it was just something seasonal.
