Bo made a Pro Bowl in his career.

I am getting older, so I may be the only one that remembers Aundray Bruce from Auburn as the biggest #1 overall bust.

He did stay in the league for awhile, but never made a pro bowl and never really produced much. The Falcons passed on multiple future hall of famers including Tim Brown, Michael Irvin, and Randall McDaniel to make that selection.

JaMarcus Russell stole all his thunder years later

Best overall probably goes to Peyton, Smith or Elway.

A few others deserving mention of the worst ever NFL #1

Kenneth Simms, Courtney Brown, Steve Emtman

Russell is #1 worst by a country mile though.

1989 - Troy Aikman - 3 Super Bowls
1997 - Orlando Pace
1998 - Peyton Manning - 5 MVP - 14 Pro Bowls - 2 Super Bowls

I'm pretty confident that Elway had some Super Bowls and stuff too.

Raiders would have been better off if JaMarcus would have never played a down.

Cam Newton is up there for the worst.

I disagree. Cam was pretty solid until his body started to go as he took a ton of hits with how he ran. His first 5 seasons were very good. Really 7 of his first 8 year were pretty darn good. But then he fell off a cliff.
