We've had a few but TE comes to mind. Jared Cook or Jarrel Adams. Both players had mind blowing numbers at NFL combine but were underutilized by Spurrier. Even Hayden Hurst falls in this category too

To be fair, Terrell Davis was behind Garrison Hurst his sophomore year. His junior year he had 167 carries for 850 yards and a other 160 yards on 12 receptions.
His senior year he was injured a lot it seemed.
Edit: My timeline was off. Fixed.

The best damn TE in the conference in CJ Conrad. I scratch my head every week of the season wondering why he doesn’t get more touches.

Terrell Davis? Seemed to be be in the doghouse with the head coach for some reason.
Always fun to have a hall of fame player in the doghouse of a mediocre head coach.
He backed up Garrison Hearst in 1992 (who won the Doak Walker that year).
He was the feature back in 1993 on a team built around Zeier and the passing game.
He got hurt early in 1994.
I think those things had more to do with it than the doghouse.

For UGA, Knowshon Moreno. I know he played and led the team in rushing for 2 years, but it should've been 3. WTF was Richt thinking Redshirting this guy?

Not if you ask Terrell.

Brandon Jacobs comes to mind for AU. Wrong place at the wrong time.

CJ Uzomah could've done so much more. He's a prototypical NFL TE and only had 29 catches in 3 seasons. 7 of those were for TDs though, most were clutch TDs and a few game winners too.
He already has more catches in 3 seasons in the NFL, and that's behind a Pro Bowler Tyler Eifert.
Uzomah was more talented than Lutzenkirchen but only got half the oppurtunties.

This should be the OJ Howard Award.
Still confused by how under-utilized he was. He was the one of, if not the, best tight ends I've seen in the SEC.

Todd Fing Gurley,
It was always funny watching UGA somehow waste an offense with Gurley and Murray
