It also has to do with the history of the stadium which most NFL stadiums can't match

I've been to Jacksonville's stadium for example and it is way smaller than BDS

BDS is nicer than some NFL stadiums. Of course, it wouldn't surprise me if some franchises start to follow Dallas' lead. Much like the building frenzy in baseball.

LSU has 10 combined national championships in those sports. Alabama has 13.

You ''don't want it'' because you'll never have it.

Reminds me of this:

I'm from Mobile. I'm not for this move. It didn't work out the last time they were all collectively "one state".

I'm from Alabama and I love Alabama Football more than pretty much anything. But I still can't imagine not being a Saints fan. I don't care if Birmingham got a pro team, I'm still a Saints fan.

Don't have time to look up all sports, but the big three is:

Alabama: 13 LSU: 10

We beat you out in total number of conference and national campionships in football, baseball and basketball, and we're a much smaller state that has TWO SEC schools!

Oh, and in wha way hav I been irrational? I post facts to back up my assertions (other than the not liking pro sports, that is an opinion which cannot be quantified). You're not real smart are you el tigre? You resort to name calling when you can't back up what you say.

According to July 2009 census estimates Alabama's population is 4,708,708 and Louisiana's is 4,492,706.

Or it could be that I enjoy college football more than the NFL

I've never been much of a NFL fan. I follow Alabama players, and other notable college players on Sundays. However, I've always been a big baseball fan. Braves is where it's at (after 'Bama football, of course).

If you say so. I remember not too long ago though that the Saints were all but packed up to leave N.O. so please don't act like everyone in N.O. has always supported the Saints like they want everyone to think
