Poor quality cause it from 1978 but here is The Hit. As background back then Oklahoma/Nebraska meant something. In this game OU fumbled something like ten times. On this kickoff the LB had a full 40 yard without slowing down. The returner was Kelly Phelps who later played QB. I literally though he was dead on the play - when you saw the slo mo you see the back arch in the shape of a helmet. The wildest part was the ref ruling it not a fumble saying his forward progress was stopped. No kidding. This could be in the worst referee thread.

This one always cracks me up. Savion got beat so bad he faked an injury lol

I can’t find a good one of the Tebow/berry collision. It was a stalemate of savagery.

Who didn’t sack Brodie? Our Oline wasn’t the greatest 14 years ago.

Justyn Ross - Alabana native - has a full savage highlight reel from that one game!

Thankfully he didn't get to finish the old "Louisiana Slip n' Slide".

Not going to search for a gIF at the moment- But I recall Patrick Willis making a perfect form tackle against an LSU rb, I think it may have been Justin Vincent down near the goal line. Facemask right into his chest, wrapped up with both arms, and just moved him backwards and planted him. It was a big boy tackle

It was a huge play, too. Bama overwhelmed the Canes coming out of halftime and that might've been the TD that got the Canes off the deck and into the game. After that play, Miami just settled in for the smackdown.

I remember this one from the 2003 season. Replay has to be seen in real time to appreciate the violent nature of the play.
