The most intense they have played like the topic asked is that 1985 Iron bowl imo, it took absolutely everything to barely win that one even though I was just a kid watching it on tv when it was live. But it's fun to think of the most intense one you actually went to like so many other cool fans were saying, and to me that was the win at the end game against Georgia in '94.

Most of you children are not old enough to remember 1983 AU vs Maryland - Boomer Esiason as MD QB. Crazy game.
1983 AU vs FL - more NFL players on both schools than anything I ever saw before or since.
AU/LSU 1988 7-6. Holy shite.
2004 AU/LSU - Campbell to Taylor back of endzone. OMG.
1985 or 86 AU/FSU Auburn win 42-41 in Tallahassee
1994 AU/FL
2006 AU/FL
2010 AU/Ark over 100 pts scored in that thing.
2010 Iron Bowl (classic for the AGES)
WORST FOOTBALL GAMES
Virtually every game we ever played against Kentucky.
3-2 against MSU. two teams so inept that they couldnt beat their way out of a paper bag. both coaches should have been beaten senseless and fired on the spot.

Armageddon at Arrowhead
LINK
kU QB eats a pound of turf to end it (once again, Pinkel takes his foot off the gas and allows an inferior team to make it interesting).

I've heard the Bonfire game was quite intense as well though, for different reasons than the Nebraska game
Brutal. I flew from DFW to Houston on a 6:15 a.m. flight. After hearing about it on the radio, I called & woke up three different Aggie friends to tell them to turn on the TV. I drove up to B/CS that evening I went to the service at Reed. One if the guys I woke up took me to Midnight *Yell* by candlelight & then again to the game next day. I cried like a baby at both. I hate Texas but their freaking band got me started me up again with the way they played Amazing Grace at halftime.

LSU vs. UGA at Tiger Stadium in 2003. I was fortunate enough to be on the 45 yd. line, 11th row, behind the UGA bench. It was so loud and intense, my teeth hurt. Had a headache for two days after that one. I guess I've mellowed since then and don't get quite so worked up about games, but it was the most intense/memorable/enjoyable one I've seen.

One of the best I've seen is the '72 OM/LSU game.
With 4 seconds left Jones throws an incompletion and everyone thought that was it....but 1 second remained on the clock. He hits Brad Davis with a short pass in the end zone to tie the game. Extra point wins it for LSU 17-16. OM had the gigantenormous butthurt for years. Loved the billboards at the border they put up that read "You are entering Mississippi...please set your clocks back 4 seconds".

I've not read the whole thread but I think the 2001 Auburn vs. Florida game at Jordan Hare has to be mentioned. I've been going to Auburn games since the 80's and this was one of the loudest most fired up crowds I've ever seen in person. Literally throughout the game you could not hear the person next to you. Florida was favored by over 20 point and nobody gave Auburn a chance. Florida was supposed to wipe the floor with us. But Auburn won with a field goal with :17 left on the clock. They were kicking towards the north end of the stadium. I remember looking at the huge American flag while they were lining up for the kick and the wind was so hard the flag was pointing straight back towards Duval.
Other games that stick out in my memory I had the pleasure to witness live...
89 Iron Bowl (still my favorite game period)
93 Florida
94 LSU
97 Iron Bowl
04 LSU
There's other but those really stick out as ones where I left the game mentally and physically exhausted.

Tennessee in 2000 was raging.
Every game with bama from 2007 on has been epic. With one clear exception of course.

Was great until the dickhead cops unleashed the pepper spray on the students.

That Oregon State game was very tense and is up there. So was our game at Ole Miss the year before, and at Alabama last year.

LOL.. I'd forgot about that. Did they do that on the field? I started to rush the field but had a party to get to so I instead I left as soon as it was over. Guess I made the right call.
