No doubt about it. The following week a team called Incarnate Wood, whatever the heck that is, scored more points against Nicholas than Georgia did. That was pretty bad.

Enh, you will get mocked for saying that but you aren't wrong. Troy has been punching way above of their weight class the last couple of years. Relative to his team's talent level Neal Brown has been getting more out of the Power Run Spread then anyone in the country. I'm just saying there is a good reason that WVU splashed some cash to hire him.
For that matter the top 3 teams in the Sun Belt East have been pint sized nightmares. Last year App. State, Troy, and Georgia Southern all finished with 10 or more wins.

Honestly the UclA choke job was way more embarrassing than a meaningless bowl game against wake Forrest. Add insult to injury it was on a Sunday on CBS before the start of the NFL season. Yeah everyone saw it.....

Pretty much this. Its embarrassing, but not because we lost. No, its embarrassing because we were completely out classed. We had Sun Belt level talent last season... and not top of the line Sun Belt level talent at that.

You keep telling yourself that . I would have been embarrassed to get on here had uAB beat A&M last year and you would have made epic fun of A&M for it. Lets not kid ourselves nor blatant lie.

Have to disagree with you there. No SEC should lose to a team that isn't in a Power 5 conference. UCF and Boise may be the only "passes".

If we didnt go 6-2 in the SEC in 2016, it wouldnt have been near as embarrassing. If a 3-5 SEC team loses to a 10+ win Sun Belt Champ, so be it, whatever. But we finished with the 4th best conference record in the SEC that season with 1 inexplicably bad loss @ MSU
Take away that Troy loss, and that's really quite a solid season otherwise.

Yeah, I understand the difference in talent. At the end of the day, though, it's just 11 on 11. They are all humans, unless I've been lied too and CFB is actually DNA modified humans and clones, made by the government, to monopolize the sport.

I believe Southern Miss beat Florida State In 1989 and both Auburn and Alabama in 1990. We beat them in 1989. They also only lost by 1 point to Georgia and 3 points to Miss St in 1990. Favre was kicking arse and taking names against everybody back then.
