GT sucks, but they don’t suck as much as last few years. Key is not a clown like their last coach. It’s Thanksgiving week, hope Kirby can keep thee kids focused. GT can beat us.

It’s also a 7:30 kickoff instead of the usual noon.

There will actually be a few Tech fans there

Their toughest game this year was UNC

I mean, I guess. I’ll make sure CKS gets this post.

Yeah the biggest drawback to the night game is losing the time to prepare for the SEC Championship game.

Obviously will be a bigger challenge than yesterday, but come on man: you know this isn’t going to be close.

All somewhat relevant points and I’ve seen some amazing shite go down when we play big night games at home in my lifetime but there is no way in hades we are winning this game. Our defense is awful. We can’t stop anyone unless we get help with turnovers. Our offensive line is somewhat improved after 4 years of being the worst line I’ve ever seen but we still struggle against good d lines and our QB tends to turn it over when under pressure.

Making a bowl game is a good step forward for the program this year but we are no where near ready to start beating or even playing close against top 5 teams. You guys would have to turn it over 5 plus times and play by far your worst game of the year and we would have to play our best to even have a chance. Dont forget we got blown out by Bowling Green at home earlier this year and blew leads over Louisville and Boston College as well. We can’t stop anyone without help from the other team.

Playing scrubs from scrub conferences is always a real ball buster.

Georgia 42 - GT 7.

Stop being ridiculous, dawgs. Enjoy your dynasty as it is.

This is probably the most lopsided of the instate rivalry games. Tech needs a miracle

Thing is they’ll finish 4th in the ACC. Ahead of Clemson, NC, Miami and everyone’s early season darling Duke.

Thing is they're still a scrub. Good luck in the big rivalry game.

This is ironic considering most years we play GT instead of a cupcake team like Bama does

As I said GT sucks, but they are improved and it’s an “unusual” week.

Trap game written all over this.

Like Texas, USC, Michigan, Wisconsin, FSU, or one of the other cupcakes we play OOC? GT is nothing but a cupcake and has been for very long time.

It’s not even about them sucking.

In a typical year, UGA, Bama, and LSU each schedule an early season Power 5 opponent.

They also each play 8 SEC games.

For the 3 remaining games, LSU & Bama have 3 rent-a-wins. Georgia only schedules 2 and plays Tech instead.

Not that it’s Bama or LSU’s fault. It’s not their fault they don’t have an OOC rival.

It’s just funny they try to bash Georgia for playing Tech like it’s a bad thing when they are playing the Citadel in lieu of an OOC game.
