You nailed it!

Besides, you've got to have something to be arrogant about!

With that definition, Alabama fans would not be considered arrogant in the fact their sense of one's own importance is backed up by 17 National Championship trophies and historical on-field success. The first fan base that comes to mind fitting that definition is Tennessee...definitely an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abililties.

No buckfamer. I live in Nashville; so, I'm more familiar with the Big Orange fan base. I'm sure there are other fan bases that equally fit the definition of arrogant.

There are a lot of candidates for arrogant: Bama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Tenn, A&M

Most pathetic overall definitely goes to LSU. Their fans are extremely insecure even after a championship season.

Most unfounded arrogance would come from A&M and Georgia.

Yet Auburn fans feel like they are better than Georgia at football.

Mind telling me exactly how Auburn is better than Georgia at football?

Aren't there more Bammers in Nashville?

I couldn't agree more, I think Alabama fans tend to look down at everyone else, even though we have had our share of down years and disappointing loses.

Man, I knew SO many Auburn fans that pulled for bama in the NC game a few years ago against UGA. That tells you something right there.
That being said, I've always found it amusing to see Bama and UGA fans look down at Auburn while the vast majority of them have never been inside a classroom in Tuscaloosa or Athens.

I would bet I have sent more money to Athens than you have to Auburn.

That said, I don't look down on Auburn. I think they are near carbon copies of each other football wise, which is why I am perplexed at why so many Auburn fans think Auburn is better in football than Georgia.

Why don't you explain it to me, since you seem to know so much.

Georgia and Alabama fans are arrogant, and yet it is he that is looking down on them. Irony is ironical.

Don't own a truck. Never have. And I don't send money just to send money. My daughter went and graduated from Georgia and was in their Honors program. Most kids that go to a school usually have momma and daddy pay for them, then they want to act like they are special because they attended a class there.

Hmmmm, well, my parents paid for my degree from Auburn (which I'm very grateful for). But, I paid my fraternity dues. And my bills. No telling how much money I've spent in Auburn in the subsequent years since I graduated in 2001.
