Where would LSU be had you not played an option team your first game? 119?

Yes, Ttown, could possibly be electric like the epic 2011 night game. Still the most fans I've ever witnessed on UA campus. 2 months till the clash.

CBS sucks! A competitive game again with Alabama vs LSU is great for college football, but not so good for the ulcers of Tigers and Tide.

I'll believe LSU beats Alabama WHEN LSU beats Alabama.

Bama is great, LSU has to prove themselves against Saban. I will tell you this, the offense I saw this Saturday looked like Tua did in the regular season last year. I am not sure about nervous, but this LSU team will be nothing like the last 8 meetings. Do not know if we win, but this team can put points on the board in a hurry and they are not predictable. There is a lot of Sean Payton's SAINTS offense in the LSU offense now. LSU has taken their offense to a new level and it will get better if we get more dynamic running back.

Mistaken I think LSU has a better chance in Tuscaloosa than Red Stick if you look at the record. Bama owns us in Tiger Stadium, the only team but.......

The same "option team" that ran rushed for over 300 yards against your #1 ranked defense in 2011. What's your point?

On Sunday, I went to a ton of different forums looking at fan reactions.

The most common reaction from Alabama fans was not what I expected, it was excitement. They are excited that LSU just might be a good team again and actually challenge them. Yeah they liked winning 8 in a row, but that gets boring after a while. Much respect to them.

This is correct. Most of us don't honestly want Alabama's season games to be walk-overs. If you aren't a Tide fan you could find that to be strange, but it's actually no fun slapping a team around every year...we want to see a good game, too.

Same story every year, gets better every time I hear it.
This isn't the same story grandpa. We don't expect to win unless we beat them again, idc how good the offense is.

Is this LSU's best chance since 2011 to beat a Saban coached Alabama?
If they can't do it this year, it may never happen again.
LSU fans are the nervous ones, Bama fans are the confident ones

A top 5 recruiting class last year, a top 3 class so far this year and a new offensive scheme says differently.
