They finished #52 in YPP and #46 in S&P+ in 2018 and #39 in YPP and #20 in S&P+ in 2017. They returned 8/11 starters from that team and got back 2 guys who started in 2017. They've been good on defense for about 4 years now
They aren't going to be good on offense, they will absolutely be good on defense.

What do they care? Bama will still be gifted a playoff spot even with a loss to LSU. Saban will be in the press box watching the SEC championship game again will scouting and getting ready for his game after.

You are a dunce if you don't understand that Bama's offense is better than Texas' and Alabama's D is far better (neither Texas (7 DBs on NFL rosters) nor LSU (10) but Bama (13) is DBU). You are right about the temp - for both teams.
It looks like your O is headed in the right direction and it was impressive that Coach O allowed the offensive staff to remain aggressive with the game on the line. So, LSU will score but Bama should score more - probably, comfortably.

Nah, we'll just beat LSU like usual instead. Might lose to Auburn, though.
