I'm having to still screw around with a damn tax return from 2012 that some fricker filed for unbeknownst to me.
Ha my bad bud. I actually stopped doing that shite after yours. I didn't make hardly anything from your return. However, I did qualify for food stamps after showing them what you earned so thanks.

That article reads like they were victims, unless I read it wrong

Well, frick, where do I start. Uh, ok. First off, the Red & Black WAS a University run newspaper BUT they left the University and became Independent and completely ad-supported in 1980 in order to avoid interference on the part of school administrators. They still function as a newspaper that is almost entirely student run (through the form of internship-like staff positions rather than appointed club-like positions) and also produce a magazine (Ampersand). So, while not run by the School of Journalism they are staffed by its students.
Second off, the School of Journalism does not have a Peabody Award. Rather, they host and sponsor the Peabody Awards.
Do I need to copy and paste this in case you decide to remain willfully ignorant?
You act like the staff of the newspaper are NYTs employees. I read up on it, the staff consist of students and some of the management are professionals. The editorial and publishing decisions are made by the students. And I know what the Peabody Award is about. Just ironic based on the picture you paint of the Journalism School.

What an intelligent reply.
I thought so too. I just cant believe an AU poster would want to accuse another team of receiving un approved funding

It reads both ways. It is possible they are victims, but the authorities want to investigate further if the two players have a closer relationship with the two suspects.
Not enough to make either claim and therefore no reason to suggest that they are criminals.

That is what you would think, until the cops made an issue of the phone records of the criminals and players. It should clear everything up, or crack it wide open.

Another UGA board says the other two dudes under investigation are from New York.
Not impossible that Mauger and Langley knew them, but seems unlikely

They come from New York but attend Morehouse college which is close to where the players both went to high school.
Like I said they are investigating to confirm the players story that they are victims and the suspects acted on their own.

Eh, not really the same neighborhood.

Come on, do you really believe these two football players did not know the two criminals ?
Posted on 2/6/15 at 9:32 pm to DuncanIdaho
I didn't say it was the same neighborhood, I am merely pointing out the puzzle the police are trying to piece together. Phone records show the players phone numbers on the suspects phone.
I am just trying to share what I took away from the story for the crow is all. I am not condemning or trying to read anymore into what the article suggests.

No, but that is what they're aspiring to be so I guess we can forgive them for acting like it.

And in 2011, the students hit a breaking point with the professional management and walked out. The management is loyal to nobody but the business of print media and the students are loyal to nobody but their future careers as journalists. If that means potentially writing a scathing expose of the football program (and, oh, have they tried and failed miserably so many times over the years) then so be it.

What picture have I painted of the Journalism school? I haven't mentioned the school itself at all except in explanation of their relationship with the R&B.
