Typically

But You’re routinely finishing 3-4th in your own conference to the same 3 teams in that time period.

And those 3 have 3 top 5 classes each to your 1.

Maybe you guys can tamper with enough transfers before they hit the portal to have a respectable final score in your inevitable playoff loss this year.

Sumlin had some great skill players, but didn't really know how to recruit the trenches. The difference is that Fisher has great OL and DL recruiting, and getting better every year. A&M is recruiting at another level entirely on the DL. Fisher has built A&M from the inside out, and therefore when we do "find that QB" the talent is already in place for success.

Sumlin couldn't really do that. When we had Manziel, didn't have the pieces to win it all after his freshman campaign. It is the reason he is currently unemployed

Clearly you missed the part about returning to your seat at the kids table.

The guy who recruited Kingsley Keke, Daylon Mack, Justin Madubuike, Daeshon Hall, and Myles Garrett didn't know how to recruit the trenches.

He recruited some good talent, but he wasn't remotely consistent and it is great to have a talent like Garrett. But you have to surround him with elite talent as well. The one thing that Fisher has been great about is consistency. We have more talent in both the first and second string DL than Sumlin ever had in just his first string at one time. You are a Sooner fan, so I will overlook your ignorance ...

We have a true SEC quality DL rotation. We have SEC talent throughout the OL. We are stacking talent at RB, and at other skill positions. Last year Fisher was ahead of the curve - you will see the results of Fisher's recruiting efforts in the next few years. A&M straight up owned the fourth quarter last year, and I expect that to continue because of our "boring" offense. It won't be nearly so boring in the near future ...

First, 41-13.

Wait, we can talk about scoreboard from almost a decade ago???

What happened the last time Texas and Texas a&m played??? Surely A&M won with how dominant they are, right? Especially with all of their success again Texas at Kyle Field.

A&M would straight whip Texas if they played right now. Wouldn't have to really pass the ball to win given the complete lack of playmakers Texas has at both DL and OL. They do have something like twenty receivers, though

We heard the same thing for years and years, and yet: you were so thoroughly abused that you ran away after 76-37-5 and whatever the hell your record against OU was, which I'd imagine is even worse.

I'm fairly confident if Texas lined up, they would have the mental edge like they've always had against the farmersonly.com cult in College Station.

shite, y'all have a losing record against us in your OWN HOME STADIUM

Actually 5-6, then hated the (valid) criticisms so much that he left them out to dry for a bigger paycheck before the season ended. And now look where FSU is.

Wouldn't surprise me if he does the same to A&M in a couple of years

Name the last team that won a national championship running Jimbo's style of offense.

Hell, I'll do it for you, 2013 Florida State.

The offensive revolution rendered Jimbo ineffective in the national title picture, after getting blasted by Oregon ( ) the following year, Jimbo has always been on the outside looking in.

Do you think Mack Brown got tired of the criticism? And how many years has it been now since Texas started on their sojourn into the wilderness?

What does any of that have to do with Jimbo and A&M.

Seems you are deflecting from the Texas poster's valid points.

Well - his last four years he was averaging more than 5 losses a year, and we just fired a guy that lost 3 games, so yeah... I do think those criticisms were valid.
