Damn you. Don’t make me support Tennessee but they are a charter member and you have been less than a week. Tennessee is real SEC since 1933.
Nothing sucks like a big orange is directed at them, not you. Because THEY are the Big Orange, not you. You are the color of a rotting orange left in the sun too long.
I am sure we can learn to hate you as UTx fans appear to be at least as obnoxious as Whiskey River, Serraneaux and KellerChrystfan. But those are the worst of Tennessee fans. That is not something to aspire to be.
Oklahoma fans are a lot easier to take.

All I can say from an outsider’s POV is this is fascinating to watch.
Texas has (on point) brashly, proudly and loudly welcomed itself inside the family room. Texas doesn’t much care if you like em or not, btw. They like themselves just the way they are.
Aggie is seething over there in the corner and telling anyone who’ll listen “I told you. I told you!!!” They get a maybe a couple of sympathetic pats on the shoulder but then everyone’s attention is soon drawn back again to the new brash guy taking up the center of the room with his boots on the couch.
Oklahoma kind of quietly walked in through the door behind Texas. I’m not sure anyone even noticed. This is freakin’ Oklahoma we’re talking about and right now, it might as well have been Maryland. What the hell…
This is highly entertaining to see this dynamic play out on the board right now.

Once Abby bolts for the B10, maybe the T schools can be the Thanksgiving weekend game for each other. UT has been coasting with Vandy for far too long.

You are our rival but we know you having battled for years. We want to beat your brains in but having battled with you, respect you. We share many things with Tennessee including similar heritage, Cumberland Gap, Dale Hollow Lake, Land Between the Lakes and similar political leanings. Basically the same people which makes the rivalry intense.
We don’t appreciate some Johnny come lately pissing on our rival, because you are our rival. The real UT.

Here’s the agreement between schools.
In 1986 the University of Tennessee and the University of Texas agreed to share the well-known interlocking “UT” trademark that both schools use. Tennessee applied for registration of the trademark for the sale of jewelry, paper, metal and leather goods, as well as printed matter, housewares, glassware, and clothing. Texas owned registration of the trademark for educational and entertainment goods. Tennessee’s and Texas’s trademarks are different but similar enough to cause confusion to manufacturers, who have used them interchangeably in the past. The agreement gave Texas commercial rights to the trademark west of the Mississippi River and Tennessee the rights east of the Mississippi and in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana (home of LSU).
So essentially they are not allowed to sell the power T or interlocking UT in SEC country or east of the Mississippi. Also get on fanatics and try and find a Texas hat for sale on fanatics with the interlocking UT or just the power T. Texas has no claim to the logos as Tennessee allows them to only use it west of the Mississippi.

Regardless of who is or who isn't the "real UT", everyone here should just call Texas UT. Tennessee is a horrible program full of terrible people and supported by what are basically sub-human fans.
