Frank's was terrible. Got a 44 grade by PFF, threw a bunch of short stuff WRs turned into yardage, throws downfield led to 2 picks.

Really, statistically, he had a pretty decent game. I wouldn't say above average because we need to see what the rest of the ACC can do against them -- but he had a decent game.
What really fricked him over is his trash talking on the sideline. The timeline is horrendous.
Interception: Mad Feleipe.
Touchdown: Goes to talk trash to fans, Mullen pulls him aside and tells him to stay in the game.
Touchdown #2: Goes to talk trash to the camera, Mullen is probably pretty pissed off he's not around to talk about the next drive.
Interception #2: Directly after TD #2, first play, straight out the gate after talking shite to the camera in the most thuggish, silliest, stupidest way you can.
Does this humble Feleipe? Nah, he punts the ball into the stands like he won the game all by himself.
Surely after the game he'd be with his team, since they just saved his stupid arse from losing to an unranked team?
Nah, he's not with them receiving the band or the student section -- he's looking for the cameras again and finds that Mullen's there. Oh, I need to go hang out with my HC right now! Maybe I can get some more face time.
I'd rather take a QB who had less flash who protected the ball over Feleipe. 3 Touchdowns are great unless you have 3 Turnovers as well.

Comparing Mond, Tua, Fromm or Lawrence to Franks is just retarded. Those four had really good seasons whereas Franks seems to be pretty average once he goes up against decent defenses.
In fact, Franks was ranked dead last regarding P5 Quarterbacks and pressure.
I, personally, feel like it's better to focus on our QB who is underperforming (as a Redshirt Junior) than trying to find anomalous games like the first game of the season to prove a point.
You're just spinning your wheels and getting worked up over someone who sucks. Don't deflect his shitty behavior and subpar play, embrace it.

Mond is getting better, and his confidence is as well, it’s the reason he makes stupid throws from time to time.
Who actually is the best QB in the SEC? None really stand out except for Tua, and he cratered when it mattered.
I see nothing wrong with Mond thinking he’s best, and a case can be made for the way he plays in big games. We will see as the year goes on

Mond could blow a .018 and be a better qb than Franks. Franks is garbage .
