I'm going to say that that guy and I are roughly the same age because his fears about the Soviet Union spontaneously nuking us was shared by me everyday. Who in here remembers the "duck and cover" drills in school?

That shite was fo realz man. Fallout shelters, civil defense sirens, watching the CBS evening news everyday with my parents to see what rose crazy Soviets were thinking. You can't imagine how awesome it was to see Gorbachav elected and to see the Berlin wall come down and then to finally witness in 1991 the demise of the Soviet Union.

I know. He needs to be UGA's next coach. On second thought, I would vote for him for President...
The fallout shelters were always in the federal or state buildings in a town. Ours was the post office and the fire station. I still see those faded yellow signs with the triangles and think back to how it used to be.
