It's pretty ridiculous. I mean he won at least one award for coach of the year. With the crap he's going to put up with at Bama, I almost feel sorry for the man.

That's the caption from the pic of the LSU kid. Nick Saban once coached? Foreshadowing?

I bet if we posted this on a Gump board we could convince them that Saban is leaving Alabama.

This is the editorial sound off inside front page...features comments on city council of Mobile to draw tons of tourists in to city on NYE with Giant Moonpie "raise" Pie cost $9000 taxpayers money not including the crane to lift...as you can see the pie was a flop.

The other "sound off" is on sports page 2...thanks

Maybe NS will leave Alabama on a moonpie??

uh, prior to his spanking in the bowl! You can bet your sweet azz tea that he would not have won any COTY award, post-season.

Those would all go to the Utes coach, at this point

So you can't provide a link, how convenient. I don't know a single Bama fan who wants Les Miles.

I disagree. No one expected a 2 loss year for the tide. Saban did a superb job this year. He's an arse, and I'm still sticking with Miles, but you've got to give the man credit when it is warranted.

I just got back from New Orleans and the Sugar Bowl. I am a Utah fan, but I have to say that most of the Bama fans I met were very nice and fun to hang with. There were those who gave Utah no chance, and even went as far as to say Utah was no where near as good as Bama. Those are the Bama fans Im still looking for....... you guys owe me a sh*t load of drinks. If you're going to bet on your team at least have the guts to pay up! :) And for the three sports writters from Bama who told me Bama was going to blow-out Utah..... I would just recomend you do your homework. You're paid professionals, you'd think you'd learn a little about the other team before you start predicting blow-outs.
All in all the Bama fans we hung with were great. Bama had a great year, and you should all be proud of your team. I hope we meet up again someday.

Let me say that I am so glad that JPW is gone!!!! Now maybe we can get a real QB in there. How fitting was it that his fumble ended the game. Reminded me of LSU last year!! Can't throw, cant run, looks scared to death. Just another overated player from Hoover!! i hope Nick knows a little more about recruiting Qb's than our friend Shula did!! As for Andre Smith, I wish him nothing but misery in the NFL. what he did was very selfish and in my opinion was devistating to the offense. but that doesn't excuse the poor play of the defense. Very poor tackling and no pressure on the QB. And the secondary would have had a hard time covering a high school team. I knew we got away with some games this year, so I was very worried about this game. I had a feeling they would not take Utah seriously! I need the 8 months just to recover from this!!
the only good thing that came from this is it shows once again how badly we need a playoff system. The bowl system is out of date.

So any idea who will be the QB next year? How is Star Jackson? Is he any good?

Did this loss really suprise anyone? I think I predicted this like I did the Florida game. Look it up. And thank god parker is gone. Its about time. he coulndt throw a football up his arse if he was sitting on it.

Hello Crimson Tide Fans,

Let me say that as a Utah Fan it was an honor to have an opportunity to play against a vaunted program like Alabama. While the victory was great, it was only one game, Alabama has been playing at this level for 50 years. I'm confident Alabama we'll be in hot pursuit of the National Title next year, especially with a great coach like Nick Saban. One upside for both sides is that we are one step closer to a national playoff series. Hope to see you guys next year.
