So what you are saying is Mizzou's success will again rely on the framework completed by Mike Anderson.

And coached by Haith.

quote:

Pressey pointed out that under former head coach Mike Anderson's system he and his teammates were never ever to get into a rhythm offensively.
"In that system, nobody plays more than 25 minutes. You're in and out, in and out. It never gave us a chance to get into a rhythm.

quote:

"I'm able to dictate the game and Coach Haith allows me to show my talent a lot more. Coach Haith trusts me and I trust him."

Hey, fool, we are just fanatic cheerleaders, we don't have to play!

You weren't around for their preseason football talk?

Leadership losses were big. Pressey is super talented and Dixon can score at any time anywhere on the court. But Denmon was a warrior and Kimmie had more heart than any Mizzou player in at least 5 years. They're the answer to talent, too. Oriahki, Criswell and Bowers are individually better than our entire front court was collectively last year.

It will be interesting to see how losing our X and Os assistant will affect us. Haith had a couple of dumpster fire teams at Miami and I think a condition of him coming was hiring Nestor (or someone like him). Will Leitao plug that gap? Fuller? If he's not mindful, a disorganized mess could develop and that will be disappointing.

Coached to an embarrassing first round defeat at the hands of a nobody. You'd think if he was such a great coach he wouldn't have been on the verge of getting fired at his previous job, or maybe he would've gotten hired by now at a real basketball school.

What? You mean they're not in control of the East? Should be a great game in ATL against Bama.

Yes, the way we ended the season was horrific. Remind me where CMA and you all played postseason.

Arkansas was a preseason top 10 team Mizzou wasn't so it's funny that you're giving us shite about our football team even when we still have a better record than you and Arkansas will be the ones playing with themselves while Mizzou is bowling for 8th straight season.

I'd say longer than that. One of my all-time favorite Tigers, and we will miss him for sure.

Losing Nestor was huge, IMO. He was a fantastic Xs and Os coach, and will be tough to replace.

Duh, that is what is know as March Madness upset!

Disappointing as hell, but not embarrassing. Mizzou, no depth bench, thanks to Anderson, was playing with two injured men on the floor. NFS played their dream game, and Mizzou kept it close.

I hope you enjoyed your mirage of a season that ended with an early exit from the tournament that actually matters. Our coach was picking up the scraps of Pel fail, while yours was benefitting from the foundation laid before him by a coach that actually knows what he's doing. You should come to BWA this year. You'll get to see what a real arena, bball fanbase, final four banner, etc looks like.

Those are banners at the top.

I was unaware of your multiple national championships. Too bad last year you couldn't even add an NIT banner...

Premium space available in the rafters, measly NIT and NCAA appearances do not make the cut, maybe at Mizzou, but there just isn't enough room for those participation banners.

Not my fault your players are big fat vaginas capable of being manhandled. That's been my hypothesis all along about Missouri.

Every time you post you show what an idiot you are. You really shouldn't be yapping about something you clearly know nothing about. When Haith was hired, recruiting was pretty much over and there was nothing in the pipeline. And ol' Mike hadn't bothered to do his damn job - which he was paid quite well to do. He had 0 commitments, and we had 0 freshmen on our team last year thanks to him.

You really don't want to pursue that argument with anyone who has knowledge, little troll. Just go on back to your hole under your little bridge.

I know right. Some schools go to the NCAAT to "keep it close" against the likes of Norfolk ST, while others go to win the whole motherfricker. It's alright Mizzou. We understand that you are trying super hard, just know your place.

Sweet Baby Jesus, Breakaway. Dale and Porker in the same thread. We just need Teague to have the trifecta.

There is no room for reason with these idiots.
