I don't think UGA will be able to put pressure on Lock. He will have time to progress through his reads. Mizzou will win this game by a TD.

We just don't have the caliber of players on defense that we need to beat Georgia this season. Lock will get some points on the board for us to save it from being embarrassing, but I'm thinking this game ends up in the neighborhood of a 28 - 45 loss for us.

Right. I actually expect a game like last year. We'll move the ball, hit some big plays and it will probably be a game at halftime but the offense won't be able to be perfect for 4 quarters and the D won't be able to get any stops.

The only way I can see us making this a 4 quarter game is if we get some turnovers, key drops on 3rd down, bad penalties etc. in other words we need to catch a lot of breaks

Can the UGA defense slow down Lock and the Missouri offense?

Nobody can cover Hall (if healthy which he should be). It doesn't matter who you put over there he will get his.

The same was said .....over and over, about Deebo Samuel. 45 total yards.

Hall and Samuel aren't really the same kind of reciever. Samuel is a guy you get the ball to in open space and see what he does.

Hall is much more of a typical outside speed guy with length.

Samuel doesn't have 100 yards on the season, Hall is 4th in the country. I don't think there's a real comparison. Also personally believe he's still recovering from his injury.

Hall is 4th in the country against mediocre competition. The next 3 games will provide a more realistic measuring stick. Get back to me with updated stats after the Bama game.

I did not see UGA being lucky last year, just dominant. Georgia had a deep turnover which resulted in a quick Missouri TD. One of four scored by Missouri. Georgia's O moved the ball pretty well, as I recall, and put up some big numbers. Through three games this Georgia O is better than last year's even without Chubb and Michel. I know it sounds crazy and some Dawg fans may disagree.

If they play like they did Saturday that's an easy answer. Fromm hangs 600+ on us.

Doubtful if he's matched up on Baker with any regularity.

According to Mizzou, they will line up on each other at every snap.

Baker is our right corner.
Hall is their left flanker (I guess he was the right side last year because that is where both of his touchdowns were against the dawgs).

The question is how often will Baker be in man coverage.
And while in zone, how often will Hall's route challenge Baker's side?

As long as his groin is fine then 100+ yards and at least a score

I would absolutely take the under on that.

If anyone gets 100 yards, it might be your tight end. We are stronger this year at CB and S.

I'd just like to point out we literally heard the same thing last season only with a different guy. J'Mon Moore was your clear cut #1 receiver and with very good reason. He had 24 more receptiosn as the next guy on the team, over 200+ yards more than the next guy (eclipsing 1K btw which is impressive), and was the only WR with double digit Touchdowns.

Yet...in last year's game he had 1 catch for 8 yards. How? Well..he was matched up on baker the whole game. Hall went berserk, mainly due to 2 60+ yard TD catches, and he was matched up with malkom parrish all game.

Now having said that, this year we trade out parrish and put in a true freshman. Kinda scary I suppose. But my point is that your #1 receiver that will be matched up baker isn't gonna have nearly the enormous day you think he will. Where you'll succeed and get your yards/points is goign to be your #2/3 receivers and TEs against our other CBs and linebackers. Which is fine, not saying that's bad or anythign, just saying anyone going against baker this year is likely not going to fare very well.

Put Baker on Hall, it's cool. Who will you put on?

AO?
Knox?
JJ?

Cheers bitches. We'll see you on Saturday for the upset of the season. Tigers eat dogs. Fact.
