Mizzou update...candidates down to two (appears Richt is off the table)

1. Odom hasn't signed with Memphis or anyone else yet
2. Herman has "agreed in principle" to a Houston contract but nothing has been signed with talks of it happening after the ACC title game. Also, Herman was a bit wishy washy with his comments about it. For example: "These things take twists and turns along the way as they sometimes do, but I don't anticipate that happening"
3. mubobby (certified Mizzou insider) says we are waiting on our top candidate to coach in his CCG to see if he will be the guy. If not, it will be Odom.
4. Guys coaching in CCG's this weekend: McElwain, Saban, Shaw, Helton, Sweeney, Fedora, Herman, Ferentz, Dantonio
5. Of those, the only realistic ones in play are Herman and Fedora.

Herman will go to UGA if anywhere.

Calhoun is also coaching this weekend, he apparently met with Rhoades in Denver.

Yea the idea is that Herman, who was hired by Mizzou AD Rhoades, will pass up better jobs out of loyalty or a sense of obligation.
