Mizzou to Wear Improved Retro Jerseys in Cotton?

I think the Cotton Bowl knows something that we do not. On their official shirt on their official website, the helmet is a black matte BLOCK M!

I do not believe this is a mistake. They do not screw things like this up, when there are serious $$$ made on these shirts. Plus, if it was a mistake, they would've had the original gloss helmet. Even if they were unaware of the tigers' helmet choice, being that it is usually announced the Thursday before, they would have the new standard ones.
I dont know, maybe its just me that finds this interesting. Nike put in millions of dollars to re-brand Mizzou to have this new image and to make it known we are in the SEC. Then, we get a bowl match up with one of our old opponents, and we were a fresh, modern twist on our retro uniforms.
Opinions? We will look like we belong in the SEC a lot more in these unis. They are classic.

Maybe, I never saw that, though. And plus, they have those goofy helmets, Mizzou's were unique to them at least.

I thought the units you wore in the SECCG looked awesome. I particularly like the jerseys. You're one of the few teams, IMO who has improved their overall look by going with the new stuff over the traditional.

I agree and wish we never ditched them, but the powers that be thought it resembled Michigan too much so made the change.

Dude it's spelled out plain as day in the link you provided.
They just grabbed two old image files to get that picture of the shirt published as quickly as possibly.
