It is well known that the Big 10 was Mizzou's first choice, but they were rejected. So they settled for the SEC. At the time, the Big 10 schools were bigger moneymakers than the SEC, and I get it. But with the new expansion, the Disney/abc/espn deals and the SEC set up to dominate tv revenue, in the near future. Does Mizzou really want to jump ship now?
The Big 10 is adjusting and reacting to conference realignment. At first they called everybody together to provide a united front against the SEC's power grab. And all parties thought something needed to be done, but nobody could agree on what to do. So the Big 10 is now robbing the Pac 12 of their two best schools historically speaking for athletics. This is how the Big 10 treats their friends. So if they come calling, well, good luck.

Never actually been to that part but i do like it in jonesboro, almost moved to that area back in the 80s but decided to stay put

I speak for a lot of Mizzou fans that yes the Big10 was our first choice because we didn't even know the SEC was an option. Do some Mizzou fans still wish we were in the Big10..yea but that number is pretty small. We're in the best conference and we're damn glad to be a part of it.
