Even the greats get bailed out every now and then.
Don't get so cocky yet. You're still The Astros.

The Astros. As in the heavy favorite to win it all fresh off a 107 season (3rd 100+ in a row).
Sorry the Cards misplayed their hand let the golden goose go. Now Jeff runs this league and the lowly Cards have to settle for 1 n done or missing the postseason all together.

Heavy favorites don’t always win. It’s a crapshoot.

And as for Luhnow: 106, 107, 111, 92. Losses in his first four years down there. Like the dearly departed Cubs, you had to tank to get to where you are.

team wins one championship in 57 years on the back of the most blatant tank job this side of Philadelphia and he wants to talk a shite to a team that's won 5 titles and 10 pennants in that time.
You must be from Texas.

Heard your Mom also blows it on the big stage!

That’s true. It’s less of a crapshoot when you star pitcher doesn’t give up 3 runs right away.

Lol, yea what a choke right?
Reminds of me of when Travis Ishikawa annihilated this ball offered by Michael Wacha to end the Cardinals' season.
Where did Wacha go to school again? I think it was a team that made it to Omaha one of those years but failed to win a single game there...

There you go hurting the Mizzou/Card fans you’re trying to white knight for.

Or just pointing out the hypocrisy considering Missouri has more baseball history than A&M does

Had no clue A&M didn’t win a title
That’s crazy
