I'm not a Missouri native, but there's a reason I lived here for 15yrs. I've met A LOT of people in this state that moved up here from down south, more steady coming. The only negative thing about Missouri is the crime rate in STL(But still a NICE city), and Meth in Southern Missouri, other than that jobs are good, clean, make good money, safe areas, good hunting, camping, hiking, fishing, etc.

For those of you that are used to Arkansas, I could see how you'd be desensitized to the hillbilly ridden antics the southern part of the state commit of which all real Missourians are embarrassed.
But you're right. That area comes in second place.

This thread is far less interesting now that people are being sensible.

I'm trying to bring the blatant shite talking back to the thread. Not working.
It may have run its course.

Legitimate question -- sorry if already asked:
Did Lewis and Clark discover the Gateway Arch?

Mizzeaux,
I know you're trolling because the southwestern part of Missouri is great. It's beautiful, lakes are plentiful, great rivers to float, cost of living is very affordable, and it is one of the fastest growing areas in the entire State of Missouri.
Your assessment of southern Missouri is completely wrong.

It is to most all the "South".
Sorry it is not. At least the Southern states have a culture to speak of ... even if it doesn't meet your standards. The state of Misery (minus parts if its Ozark region) are just meh. You are stuck between the south and the north with hardly any identity of your own and exist merely as a buffer zone between Gods country and the craphole northern rust belt. Only thing you have going for you is the Cardinals.
Go play in the MAC sandbox.

That's because those parasites are trying to move close to Northwest Arkansas

the Gateway Arch
Fun fact of the day: the Gateway Arch's shape is a catenary curve. It was purposely chosen to echo the curves in the neighboring Eads Bridge which first spanned the Mississippi River in St. Louis, providing the gateway to the West.

I can't keep you from believing that, so dream on day dream believer...
