I like the hire
MR made a great football coach hire in Houston and we should probably give him the benefit of the doubt on Odom, or at least give it time to see how it works. Or, we can melt on day 1 of the hire like killz.

But you aren't entirely wrong about the damage this did in limiting the ability to make a top hire. No doubt plenty of the candidates viewing this situation from the outside, see it as you just described. They don't realize the truth, because nobody is actually doing any reporting to refute the idiotic mantra of racism these little worthless hunger striking campus sjw nitwits have been screaming.
If anything the media, including the sports media around the state, and the MU administration have perpetuated the nonsense they spew as being factual, by going along with it and agreeing with many of the demands of this lunatic outfit. Part of that is because Pinkel did his part in making it happen, his bad decision which he refuses to see claiming "I do whats right", made it all much worse than it ever had to be.
Realistically this hire was as good as Mizzou could expect, and honestly it's probably BETTER THAN THEY DESERVE.

I'm glad that Killz has chosen to switch to Bama because his jinxes have already done enough damage to the Mizzou football program.
One of two things will happen. His jinxes will carry over to Bama and they'll lose the SECCG. If so, then you know who to blame.
Or he can get some of that amazing Bama juju and come back to his Mizzou family to pass on said juju.
