People are just too dumb to realize that this was going to be a 3 year rebuild from the beginning. The Porters just masked the rebuild in year one. Kim Anderson won 9 SEC games total in 3 years. Cuonzo is gonna need time to bring this program back from that

If you are talking full rebuild you are right but that doesn't excuse the lack of improvement after 2 years. This team is exactly where KA left it right now. Is it going to from terrible to fully rebuilt from season 2 to season 3?

That doesn't sound realistic. Maybe jontay comes back and saves the day.

We obviously need to bring our cheating up to SEC /NCAA standards which means we have to start cheating first, so it's going to be a process

By SI Wire January 13, 2016

The Missouri men’s basketball program committed major NCAA violations under Frank Haith and faces several penalties, the school announced Wednesday.

After a joint review process in cooperation with the NCAA, the Tigers will vacate the 23 wins from the 2013–14 season and self-impose a one-year postseason ban effective immediately. The Tigers will not play in the SEC tournament or any other postseason competition and will not receive the associated revenue from those competitions. The school has also self-imposed an immediate one-scholarship reduction, and will lose another scholarship over the next two seasons.

well if you are being honest with yourself - boosters giving out extra-benefits to Frank Haith's players is exactly why y'all are in your current situation with basketball. rules violations/cheating isn't a solution - it's your problem.

Why not? It's everyone else's solution . For starters we can get rid of tutors and install fake classes and send our boosters to bag man university at Auburn

South Carolina fan talking about Mizzou giving basketball players extra benefits. Hilarious.

Not really. Who else in the SEC has a postseason ban?

Well, considering the NCAA agreed we knew nothing and said it didn’t matter, you don’t know what the fu@k you are talking about.

If you think Kevin Puryear and Jordan Geist, the two best players that KA recruited and kept on the roster, are on the level of (taking the Porters out of the equation) Tilmon, Pinson, Pickett, Mark Smith, Mario McKinney and Tray Jackson, then I'm not sure what to tell you. The talent upgrade is huge, but they're all freshmen, sophomores and seniors in HS. It is absolutely not where KA left it. Are they a tournament team next year? Who knows, but they should at least be on the bubble. But this year was really the first year of the rebuild, after the smoke and mirrors of the first year w/Porter Jr.
