You don't think it would be a huge PR disaster for a locker room to turn on the guy? Hell, did you see what happened to Icognitio for his fake bullying?

It takes a real piece of shite to exploit and violate an innocent person's privacy.
There are people who think it's his duty as a high profile gay person to come out. Seriously.

Sadly this.

This, I agree with.

Coming out should be his decision only and they wanted to take that away from him.
Shouldn't public fodder, from any position. As I said earlier.. who cares?

Yeah, but this just pisses me off. I can't understand why people are so obsessed with what others do in their private lives that is not in any way hurting them. It's just so stupid.
Exactly. That's so true, and so sad. But, people are ignorant and judgmental. Small minds talk about people, it's all they're capable of; and they're prejudiced against anyone different.

There's someone who posts here who has stated this.
Maybe some gay folks just want to go about their lives and be known by something other than their sexuality? Most gay folks I know are this way.

Yes, the gay media.

I'm not sure the person I'm talking about is even gay, just extremely liberal.

I would agree with you. The ones I know, are normal folks that don't feel a need to make a point of their choice of lifestyle. While I personally don't get it, to each his/her own as they see fit. They don't impress upon me what goes on in their bedrooms, just as I don't do the same.

Those people are looney tunes and should not be taken seriously at all. They don't owe anybody or some movement shite. Advancing a cause should be completely voluntary and not coerced.
If true, some media organization basically just "shamed" a dude into coming out. Pathetic.

I'd much rather see the media parade Michael Sam as a hero than see the same media shower Jameis Winston with plaudits after admitting to getting girls drunk and then running trains on them with his roommates.
I mean, for those who are against Michael Sam or aren't willing to see the bravery and leadership from his announcement - how do you not see the difference between a guy who just so happens to like dudes vs. a guy who takes advantage of inebriated girls?

Totally.
They're no heroes and they're not to be reviled. Unfortunately for gays they will never been seen as mainstream when you have such a circus about someone coming out voluntarily or involuntarily.
Gays are just people. They should act like it and be treated like it.
