I'm glad Sam decided to share this while he was still a Tiger. A few morons aside, MU, CoMo, and most of Missouri are behind him. It took a lot of courage to share.

2. Why is he so narcissistic that, he thinks anyone cares about his sexual orientation?
3. What would the gay communities reaction be, if straight players, held press conferences, just to say.. hey.. I am straight and demand respect from the gay community?
4. People get sick of stuff like this, not because, someone is gay, but because their self delusional and egotistical persona's demands attention when it's neither necessary or deserved.

Because they are not seeking tolerance. Almost every opinion on this board that speaks out against homosexuality is viewed by the "homosexual movement" as being intolerant of Michael Sams. This despite the fact that the movement itself is unquestionably intolerant of other's views. The homosexual movement, pop culture in general and many gay people who speak out publicly aren't trying to get people to stop persecuting or discriminating against gays -- they want everyone to openly acknowledge that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. Unfortunately, there is. Adultery is a sin too, but if you asked whether sleeping with someone other than your spouse is wrong, everyone would say "yes, it is wrong". But if you say homosexuality is wrong, then you are a bigot. As a Christian, I hope Michael Sams ask for The Lord to forgive him for his sin at some point during his life -- however, one must realize they're sinning before they can seek forgiveness for it. I will not forsake him by telling him what he is doing is not a sin.
With all that being said, I wish him the best in his life and in football.
