Mizzou Board of Curators calls on SEC to ignore NCAA ruling

This statement from Jon Sundvold (Chair of the Missouri Board of Curators) calling for the NCAA ruling to be reversed. Should it not be he requests that the SEC ignore it.
University of Missouri Statement
Jon Sundvold, Chair of the University of Missouri Board of Curators
“The NCAA Committee on Infractions made a mistake yesterday. We expect leadership from institutions to admit when they make a mistake, correct that mistake and move forward. The NCAA should do the same. As David Roberts, NCAA Committee on Infractions panel chief officer, said, “Missouri did the right thing.” I now expect the NCAA to do the right thing.
“If it doesn't, a dangerous precedent has been set. When an individual acts independently of their employer, violates rules, commits extortion and shops her accusations to the highest bidder, why would that institution be punished unjustly after doing the right thing?
“Inconsistent actions by the NCAA continue to erode its credibility. If it doesn’t admit and correct this unprecedented fault, many Power Five schools, like Missouri, will question the need for the NCAA as a governing body.
“As our appeal moves forward, I appreciate the support of the SEC and Commissioner Greg Sankey. When Mizzou wins the SEC East next year, he should do the right thing and invite one of its good standing members to play in the SEC Championship game.”

Sorry Charlie. NCAA don’t give a shite. They took 21 wins away from Alabama football over god damn textbooks. 2005, 2006, and 2007 were average enough without punishing kids for abusing a textbook system everyone was using at the time.

Vacated wins are completely irrelevant.
If the SEC says they don't care and MIzzou can participate in the title game regardless then what is the NCAA going to do about it?

It’s a pointless punishment. But I’d like to see Alabama get them back. The games were won. The opposition can’t claim victory now or anything.

You need to settle down. I agree this whole thing is bullshite, but you, this post, and your chairman isn't going to take down the NCAA.
The SEC said they'll look into it for you guys, nothing else has came out. Relax on this scorched Earth shite.

Bruh we had sanctions over hotel rooms for our football players.

That doesn't really clarify your position.
Are you suggesting that if the NCAA doesn't change their ruling then you would support the SEC keeping Mizzou out of the SEC title game.
Yes, I realize Mizzou has like a 10% chance of making the title game but I'm asking about the principle here.

I'd expect if Arkansas (my team) got punished, like you guys did , nothing would change that. I'd bitch about it, want it reversed, but I'd know nothing would happen to overturn it.
It sucks donkey balls, but it's not like this chick stole passwords of athletes, looked at their online calendar, and did homework without ANY knowledge.
Again, it's fricked up because she's a count, but do you really think this will get fixed?

Those NCAA assholes took 4 games away from Todd Gurley and A.J. Green for selling their own Bowl jerseys. Too much unreasonable power and overpaid people running that organization.

I agree with Missouri on this. Let's face it, football players are dumb as rocks.
There should be no restrictions on them getting a tutor to do their work for them.
Football players mostly don't have functioning brains and many of them are mentally retarded. So, let tutors do their work for them so they can keep playing the game.

So you’re concerned that we’re too concerned?
Noted.

It would be the shot heard round the world. If only we didn't have a limp-wristed cuckster at the helm.

Missouri should put their money where their mouths are and leave the NCAA. Nothing's stopping them.
