After listening to some of you guys I'm starting to wonder why Gary pinkel even had position coaches. You guys make it sound like he was the only one doing any coaching.
If that's what you believe you possess weapons-grade stupidity and should not reproduce.

I just came here to laugh at Mizzou. They deserve it, stupid SJW. I hope they painted poop swastikas before they got kicked off.

Well that obviously isn't the case. But he was great at identifying talent even with different position coaches over the years. That makes the common thread Pinkel's coaching ability.
I mean I would get the confidence if Odom was his DC for the last decade but he wasn't.

USCj already is, and always has been, an afterthought.
You can hang onto, well nothing, forever. Is that better?

Mizzou recruiting rankings since 12:
2012: 34
2013: 38
2014: 39
2015: 23 (golfclap)
2016: 44
IMHO, recruits from LA, GA, TX, AL, FL and CA are generally speaking slightly overrated, while guys in most other states are slightly underrated. I don't buy that the talent gap is as wide as the recruiting services purport it to be.
There are good athletes everywhere. They just don't get as much hype in some parts of the country.

Didn't Florida just allow Antonio Callaway back on the team? At least we get rid of criminals

Odom was was on GPs staff as director of FB operations, recruiting coordinator Safeties Coach, and DC covering 10 seasons. He has a pretty good idea of how GP evaluated talent and has a few ideas of his own.
He also put together a great staff.

Navy...
Don't mess these guys up with facts. We didn't take some SEC retread and it would take too much time to actually look up Barry Odoms career.

Well losing that guy was a big blow lets be honest. But if Mizzou's defense centered around one player then they wouldn't be very solid. I think they are still solid and while this stings its not the end of the world.
