Is that what they are calling a massive inferiority complex these days?

Only reason this thread is still going.

I will make it a destination next summer. We drive from Wichita metro to Hilton Head each summer and always stay in Arkansas at least one night. We can easily add a day to the trip to visit Crystal Bridges.

I'm not going to build a list, but there are a half dozen museums in NY and DC each better.

It is actually us laughing at the ridiculous claims you guys are making. Top 5 art museum in country, top 10 place to visit in the world. Get real.

The museum is already being touted by some as a countrified Guggenheim Bilbao—and Walton herself as a latter-day Morgan or Frick, digging deep into her pockets and dreaming big. This may be enough to attract culture seekers from around the country, if not the world.

You must be a telemarketers wet dream. According "to some" I have the biggest wiener ever, and that "may be enough" for me to finally bang Jessica Biel... did you notice how there is nothing actually false in what I just said?

the most talked-about new museum in a generation: the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, founded by Alice Walton. It has an $800 million endowment (making it one of the richest museums in the country), 120 acres of walking and biking trails, and a collection to rival anything in New York, Los Angeles, or Washington.

LINK

Hmm it doesn't say "maybe the most talked about" or "may rival"...happy??

That's because no Missouri poster claimed to have a top 5 museum in Hallsville.

Please check OP

Yes, we know Missouri is a cultural wasteland. You are trying to piss on our lambo while you ride a bike to work. Funny thing is, you are still wrong

Lordy you are dense... how many new museums open in a generation? Think about it for a second - this isn't impressive. Then try to figure out how being the "most talked about" has nothing to do with being a "top 5 museum in the US" or a "top 10 travel destination" - so this doesn't support your argument at all.

And the quote with the vague wording was from you - "by some" and "may be enough"

If you truly believe that when people world wide are picking travel destinations, that the number of people picking a museum in arkansas is in the top 10 then you truly can't be helped.
