Y'all are dissing crystal bridges? WTH? I've been in the moma and several other museums throughout the country- crystal bridges is very nice. The whole setup is better than most others I've been to- of course it's easier to have a scenic entrance here.

Are you Arky fans really that dense? No one was "dissing Crystal Bridges". They were making fun of Arky fans thinking it is a world class museum that will be the best in the nation.

I'm not dissing it at all. But it might not make the top 50 art museums in the US, let alone the top 5 (and I'm being nice there).

It's definitely above average no matter what the random dolt on the secrant thinks.

Oh but it will be better than the Smithsonian Institution, Le Louvre, and the Acropolis Museum.

It definitely is impressive looking.

It looks very very nice. I just react to the claim that it will be a top museum in the country the same way you would react to me trying to say that after stadium renovations, Faurot will be a top stadium in the SEC

It is truly a beautiful building and setting. Arkansas can be proud.
I think some of your fans tend to over embellish things. Some Mizzou fans are just ribbing said piggies.

The museum is already being touted by some as a countrified Guggenheim Bilbao—and Walton herself as a latter-day Morgan or Frick, digging deep into her pockets and dreaming big. This may be enough to attract culture seekers from around the country, if not the world.

I understand
I just was truly impressed when I went- I'd heard great things but when I saw it for myself I was still surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

FWIW...here's my post from CoMo gameday last year...
Had a great time in CoMo, didn't get to enjoy downtown after the game cause we had to drive to KC for the Atl-KC game on Sunday... Great folks, great trip, great town...

Mizzou fans...early impressions of CoMo...
We arrived at 9:00 this a.m. from St. Louis, parked in the Hitt St. deck. We're tailgating at Lowery Mall with the Dawg Alumni arse. so we went to check it out. Also walked thru campus to Faurot field to check it out, then walked back to downtown about 10:45...
First impressions, still a lotta parking close to the stadium at 10 a.m., folks pretty low key...
I'd give the stadium a C grade, I'm sure it's impressive when full but otherwise, meh...
Your Campus... it get's a solid A, beautiful, with lots of green space & 'lil tucked away quads & malls. Architecture is awesome & it melds the new & old together seamlessly...
Downtown get's a B so far, little to far away from the center of campus & really quiet at noon... UGA fans & Mizzou fans seemed almost 50-50 but prolly more 60-40 'zou. I'm sure that'll change later today...
Good luck tonight Tigers..
