Although the big12 isn't as strong (top to bottom) as the SEC, there are some good teams. WVU and TCU will learn the hard way that you can't coast like the Big Least and MWC.

one thing that is scary...Had WVU stayed in the Big LEast, they'd still be undefeated with the media slobbering over them and Geno.

Well, I don't think this thread is a troll. I get suspicious when anyone on the rant gives props to Mizzou because everyone has posted what a terrible decision it was to bring Mizzou into the conference since we've had a horrible year thus far.
Therefore, if this is not a troll thread then

Mizzou will get better. The upcoming crop of WR's and QB's bode well for talent. Now ship us some linemen and we will be good to go.
Thanks ECB! I for one am thrilled Mizzou ended up in the SEC vs. the rust-10.

Wrong. They are all troll threads. Everyone of 'em.

No this is far from a troll thread.

SEC should have made full court press for FSU. Would have been a more natural fit and added quality to football, basketball and baseball.
But they skeerd.
But they skeerd.

The problem with Missouri will be our "Missouri Mule" stubbornness. It will keep us from competing for at least 4 years.
Our HC will not change his offensive scheme or some coaches.
Our AD will not make him. When the WalMart money (yes I said WalMart money we have more than Arkansas) starts to dwindle then HC and AD will make changes.
This revolves around money. No money then changes will be made.

Well I think WVU can have some decent seasons in the Big 12 but I'm not sure they could be national title contenders competing with the strong programs there and the long travel every other week.

This is not a troll thread. At one time I thought West Virginia would have been a good addition to the SEC and not Missouri, but I am convinced the SEC chose the better 14th team.
Now change that hideous avatar.

Missouri certainly isn't off to a great start in football but I don't think they've been as bad as some people make it seem.
Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia is a tough slate and even down on the mat against Bama, they showed a lot of grit to keep battling. IMO, that's a good sign for the future.
Vandy at home hurts but Vandy's no pushover either and another team that looks a bit worse due to a pretty hard early sled of games.
Arizona St win looks pretty decent too.
