In our recent cross country drive, we didn't see a Bojangles Fried Chicken and/or Magnolia trees till we reached Kentucky.
Just sayin'....
Funny, my dad has a Magnolia in his front yard.

Duh....you must have aced US geography!
I don't think Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana or Texas are snugly in southeast of USA, either.

You call us "Yankees" as if we are offended by that word. We're proud to be Yankees because we're winners.
We're still waiting for the south to rise again so we can burn it down again.

Would you have preferred "Carpetbagger?"

I've lived in STL for a while now. Missing tons of things we have everywhere else like bojangles, waffle house, sweet tea, good looking women.... etc.
However they do have magnolia trees. And actually some decent sized ones as well. The climate doesn't cooperate with them as well though and they tend to be more brown year round than you would expect.

because Mike Slive told me so.
So you were willing to let an old Yankee aristocrat tell you that a Yankee program would be good to join your old boy network in the South? Makes sense.

louisiana has a foot inbounds. thats all you need- one foot in. east of miss river= southeast. BR fits that criteria.

In Louisiana we have Raising Cane's which was also started by an LSU grad

Carpetbagger means: Exploitive northern outsider.
I would say the northern outsider Mizzou has exploited the SEC and profited greatly all while completely embarrassing the East Division with unexpected dominant football.
So, to recap, us northerners came to the supposed strongest football conference in the land, increased the value of the conference while at the same time demanding a large payday, and then we wrecked the East for the past 2 of 3 years.
Yeah, I'm proud to be called a carpetbagger! Very proud!

In Key West, we don't have Bojangles, Chick-Fil-A, Zaxbys or Popeyes within 100 miles or something. It's a nightmare.

Huh? just because you don't leave your house doesn't mean there's no Waffle House, Sweet Tea, or hot chicks here.

I'll have to try this next time I'm out that way. I've heard good things and hear it compared to Bojangles and Zaxbys all the time.
