I was in this thread to bust chops about how the Westie Dickriders always saying the East is shite. I actually agree with the subject line, y'all are a damn solid football team ... who finished 5th in the East. That's a compliment to the division and to Mizzou.
But no, you're not a better football team than SC and the head-to-head results prove that 808.
Are you playing better football than us "right now?" I dunno. You certainly caught UF off guard and spanked their asses. And you spanked the Vols as well. Good job.
But football in the SEC is a 12 game regular season ... there's that pesky math thing again. It's a 12 game regular season not a two game regular season and it's all about the cumulative total of the season.
You're going to have to recruit better, just like my Gamecocks, if you wanna climb the ladder or otherwise this will be your date every season ... get all giddy about a couple of games only to be disappointed come next season.

Scar is a decent program but they've had the rabbits foot so far when playing Mizzou but I think if Scar was the team playing Mizzou this past Saturday they may have had +40 thrown on their azzes too.

The signature win is Florida (the highest ranked team).
But for some idiotic reason, the parameter was changed to a team that Mizzou hadn't beaten.

All I did was remind people the opponents weren’t exactly 01 Miami or 95 Nebraska. Then you started comparing which was sort of laughable but I played along.
It’s OK to say they’re a decent team, but I was directly responding to the person who suggested they were close to an SECCG birth.
