Glad to see some of you Westie Dickriders giving the East our props by praising the 5th best team in the division like this.
The East is better, top to bottom, than the West. That’s what you’re really trying to say, is it not?

5th best team in the division

The East isn't on the level of what we saw when it was pretty good in 2012 or 2013 but based off SRS it's still much improved over 2017 in general. The top 5 teams are all ranked in the top 25 in SRS this year, and last year it was just 1.
Maybe CFB is just really down though, as it's seemed like that as well.

are a few plays away from being in a 3rd SEC championship game
They’re a few plays from maybe 6-2 in conference, I’ll give you that. But they still lost 4 conference games, right? They are 5th in the division.
You guys are vastly overrating a few wins over a deflated UF team and a pedestrian at best Tennessee.

Agreed. I was impressed with their young RBs last night. Odom is doing a nice job of putting the pieces into place.
Yesterday was a good day to be a Mizzou fan. Well, it was until Les Miles went full turncoat and became an enemy commander. SEC coaches generally shouldn't take HC jobs in the Little 12 let alone at Kansass!!

You realize this means your team didn’t do shite this year, right?

That's the biggest difference in our team now. We have SEC size in the lines and at RB.
The concern is what do we have next year? If recruiting doesn't take a step up it's going to be tough sledding. First things first, knock off Arky and avoid shitting the bed in a bowl game and maybe recruiting gets a little better.

Mizzou wont compete with the big dogs until the recruiting improves, you're right. Bama has saban to recruit and all the nattys, UGA has the state of Georgia, LSU has the state of Louisiana, A&M has Texas, Florida has Florida. Auburn seems to do enough to stay relevant in recruiting. The rest just don't have the talent to compete year in and year out. I don't really see that many stud recruits come out of Missouri. Is there? I'm seriously asking. Last elite guy I saw out of Missouri was DGB and he was kind of a bust for how much he was hyped.

I think Odom is the most underrated Coach in the Conference.....Why the fans don’t attend games is perplexing?????
It's coming, there's still a lot of pissed off fans who are slowly coming back to the team. It took me two years to start giving a frick again.

Cocks will finish 7-5, 4-4 SEC.
Tigers will finish 8-4, 4-4 SEC.

Are we the team that lost 4 games.... or are we talking about Mizzou still?
And you do know what "deflated" means, right?

I'm sorry. Are the facts difficult for you to deal with?
Here are the facts.
Mizzou is the fifth best team in the East.
Mizzou cannot finish better than fifth.
That's the math any way you try to cut it in your mind. The math doesn't lie. The math says you lost the games you lost.
The math says you finish fifth in the East.
The math says the scores were what they were.
The math says it all worked out that way.
Even the Conference says you're fifth.
So "that shite" you claim ... is indeed the fact of the matter. It's pathetic that you are even trying to deny or ignore the facts in an effort to support your delusional take.
Now, accept reality and hope for better next season. You had a good season ... for Mizzou. Enjoy it.

Tell me about your signature win over a team we didn’t beat and then realize you just played yourself.

And we all know we’re playing better football than South Carolina. Math.

Recruiting is just fine. I know most are star gazers but look at all the true FR making plays for the team. 3 TD from True Freshman on Saturday.
This is a talented team that will have at least 5 guys drafted (6 if Albert O declares) with a couple more possibilities with an avg recruiting ranking outside the top 30. There is an obvious demarcation line of elite classes, but I believe those are fairly limited. Once you get past the top group of classes the rankings become much more of a crapshoot and identifying fit and development become infinitely more important.
Like the coach before him, Odom is proving to be pretty damn good at the latter.

Look at two posts above you ultra man.

If you look at the whole state of MO in a given year there may be 1-2 players who would rate as a 5 star. The key for Odom is locking down the state and getting a dozen or so 3-4 star players and building a solid base for a good football team that he can use to get a few 5 star commits. Those 5 star commits need to know they will not sit on the bench for 1-2 years but will have a good chance to start as freshmen. Bama probably has 10-15 players sitting on the bench who would either start at Mizzou or get significant playing time. Odom needs to let those type of players know they won't be sitting on the bench at Mizzou

That's not math. That imagination. That delusional. That's wishful thinking and it's subjective at best.
lulz ... seriously, head to head we regularly kick y'all's asses yet always, and I mean always, y'all claim to be the better team. I mean that's insane. Think about it. I guess if you keep telling yourselves that often enough you start to believe it but, you have to admit, there's a certain psychopathy to it after all of these years. It's insane.
lulz
What's even crazier is how you mizzourites keep speaking for everyone. That's a legit indicator of a serious mental issue and all of y'all do it. I mean it's bat shite crazy.
You typing, "and we all know" and your fricktard buddy above typing "no one believes that shite" ... I mean y'all are a bunch of fricking nutcases for fans.
lulz ... you lose to us almost all the time since you joined this conference. I mean what are y'all ... 2-4 against us since joining the conference? When are y'all going to accept reality? You're destined to be a perpetual 5th or 6th best team in the East. The sooner you accept it for what it is the sooner you'll begin to get better.
Hang in there - I'm pulling for y'all to get well.

It is subjective. But that’s the way it goes. If you want to hang the entirety of your season versus our season on you all kicking a field goal on the last play at home, you’re welcome to do it. It’s also subjective.
You know deep down in the places you don’t talk about at parties that we’re playing better football than South Carolina is over the last several weeks. That’s why you’re in this thread disputing it.
