Maybe he left because he knew he would never win shite if he stayed at Mizz.

Took away Cook’s pass attempts without an interception streak as well.

If I were you I would be more worried about keeping Drinkwitz away from Florida or any other suitor next year. Another 10 win season and he’s gone

Why would I melt? We will undoubtedly upgrade with the money we have to spend. Baker is a good coach. He’s not great. We will now hire great, where we wouldn’t have earlier. This pretty much assures us a playoff spot next year.

Each post is tastier than the last. I was waiting patiently yesterday for your melt, but you didn’t let me down. Nice work Amigo, and thanks for the thread

If he can take a 100 and something ranked Mizz defense to 30s ranking imagine what he can do at LSU with those athletes LSU can recruit, that's the thought process with the hire, along with coaching ability, development of players and recruiting, he turned Mizz defense around in 2 yrs, that's incredible stuff

He could repeat what House did. Or could get his playcalling duties taken away like he did at Miami. Or he could bring a Steel Curtain defense to LSU. Or he could be an above average young D coordinator (which is the most likely result).

Carry on.

This kind thing happens to 2nd programs all the time.

You guys know. Your offensive coordinator left for a better program not too long ago.

I never saw the melt being this big. These guys are not used to having good coaches. They get poached.

Mizzou had pros all over those defenses. Several more than LSU in fact.

He’s a good coach, but Drink made him that. He was a failure before that. Can he maintain his good not great production without Drink holding his hand? Remains to be seen.

We rather liked what he did with our LB's the first time around.

Can you list who you would consider and elite hire. This way when you hire someone we will see if they are on your elite list or not.
