Yep, love looking at the 2 man depth charts, because it shows recruiting rankings.
Players from the previous staff, make up most starters, and show mainly 2 and 3 stars with one 4*. The back ups(young kids) are high 3 and 4 stars.

I like having the Mizzou game early in the season. The series has become unpredictable and fun. Playing it early adds to the uncertainties. May be a white knuckler.

Mizzou's hope on D is that the secondary is good enough to stifle the passing game, forcing Kentucky to rely on the run and Mizzou to focus on stopping it. Even then, not sure Mizzou can stop Kentucky's run game.
On offense, I'm not sure what Mizzou is good or bad at, except TE seems solid. Kentucky D seems solid.

I mean, it’s not like Badie didn’t just have over 200 yards rushing last week and a 40 yard touchdown reception or anything.
Mizzou fans write off Badie so much. The dude is a dawg.

Badie had a good game. And I think CMU is better than people seem to rate them.
But how would Badie's runs have translated against Kentucky's defense? Or Arkansas? Or Georgia?
I suspect some of those positive run yards disappear, some of those first downs disappear.
I'll have to see Badie do it against an average or better SEC defense. We find out Saturday.

Badie is good and Drink can scheme up the run game to get him favorable looks. He's not a power back like Roundtree so its simply a matter of getting it out in space on the edges or misdirection. I'm not sure he wins going straight dive play into an SEC defense. I'm sure he'll get yardage, but hopefully (for UK fans) the average is much lower.
Now if he is able to go up the middle with quick hitters then we have a problem.

We run mostly zone stretch plays with Badie and Young. He’s a different back than Rountree of course, but he did put on about 15 LBs of muscle in the off-season. He’s put together.

Hopefully Mookie Cooper can get some chunk plays. He got a lot of touches last week and I felt like he was close to breaking off some big plays. Drink just needs to figure a way to get him a little space and he could produce big.
I expect the defense to make a big step forward and play much better. Not at all surprised they played bad the first week with a new D-coord. But I like Wilkes, I think he'll coach'em up better this week.
Or they could play like absolute crap and get blown out by 30. We'll see. I wouldn't bet on this one either way. Gun to my head I take Missouri +5.5 with the more experienced QB in current system.

Hey Missouri fans, argue amongst yourselves on your board.
This thread is supposed to be about trash talk.

Damn, why ya gotta be calling us out like that? They could be mostly like me and just kind of lurk until they win and want to shite talk because they're too much of a candy arse to do it pre-game because we're used to getting butt fricked

It always seems like we have few posters on here until a thread about UK gets brought up. Then we flood the thread. It’s like our bat signal.

Kentucky fans followed by jvmac and his alters from texas.
It seemed the Missouri fans were infighting, so I wanted to get the attention back on the game.
And Missouri thinks they have more fans on here than UK

Our Oline is the best in the conference, so running game should be in good shape.
Actually I wasn't impressed with OL's run blocking in the ULM game....the OL was mediocre run blocking. I think the OL misses Drake Jackson and Landon Young more than we think, especially Jackson since he was the Center who is the QB of that line.
We best hope the OL's run blocking improves quite a bit this week

This is a huge game for both UK and UM. A win gets them setup for a good year if they can just beat the teams they should. A loss could get you back to 6-6.

quote:a lot of that is on the backs making the wrong read. Liam Cohen said after watching the tape we had a few missed blocks but mostly the backs being too aggressive or missing the cuts. It will be a learning process going from inside read to outside stretch.

We should never lose to Missouri.
I’ll take Mizzou straight up.
