I really didn’t like much of anything from our team Saturday besides Tyler Badie and our blitz packages. That and our kicker may just be the GOAT. We have a good group of DBs also, but our LBs looked awful and our DL didn’t much. I was much more impressed with the improvement Kentucky showed. The ability to use the forward pass is welcome for them I’m sure. Levis and Robinson look to have good chemistry already and they have a very good OL with a tough runner in Rodriguez. Sure, CMU is significantly better than ULM but to me Kentucky looks like the better team.

Kentucky -5

Who ya got?

ETA: I’ll take Kentucky to cover

Ky wins. Mizzou is a 6-6 3-5 team this year. Media jumped on them early which was unwarranted. I believe Ky will embarrass them.

who in the Media would this be lol? almost everything I've seen is 6-7 wins, and very very few 8, and 4th in the East.

Our DL might as well not even bother taking the field, they got abused last week by Central Michigan. And we were notably smaller than them. It's going to be ugly in the trenches for us against this competent looking Kentucky team.

I am going to be patient because Drink is absolutely killing it on the recruiting side but it's going to be a few seasons before his guys are developing and starting.

Advantages for UK.. 10 seniors starting on defense. Two gigantic offensive tackles. The passing game was pretty, the running game was passable but impatient. I haven't seen enough of our offense to know how consistent it can be.

From what I saw of Missouri the trenches did not look great, and constantly bringing a safety up like that is dangerous against the play action. Also thought Drink was kinda holding the offense back with the silly end arounds and that one play that looked like it was supposed to be either a wide receiver screen or a flea flicker. Bazelak seemed off most of the first half like he couldn't get in a rhythm.

Not sure how much stock to put into week 1 games.

A lot of mizzou fans think Drink did this on purpose. Not saying yes or no, but the guy is an offensive nerd who I could totally see doing something like that.
